Rod Thompson currently works as the Director of Executive Leadership Programs at the Learning Partnership. Rod enjoyed a long-term career as an educator with the Toronto District School Board, and instilled his insights as the former Director of Education for the East York Board of Education.

His advocacy for bettering the quality of education has been put to use since he joined the Merry Go Round Children’s Foundation Board of Directors in 2006.
