On December 2nd, the Merry Go Round Children’s Foundation brought philanthropists and visionaries together for the third annual Inspiration Night Gala. More than 250 guests attended the sold-out event hosted at The Carlu in Toronto, with all proceeds supporting the enrollment of 645 new students in the ComKids program.
Keynote speaker Don Tapscott, a world-renowned futurist, author, think-tank leader, speaker and professor, engaged the audience with his influential speech on the future of technology, business and the digital sphere.
Event Co-Chair, Amie Rocket Munk, thanked the many sponsors, guests and supporters who together raised net proceeds of $150,000. Since inception of the event three years ago, it has raised more than $288,000 in net proceeds providing vital funds to extend the program to more students.
Special thanks go to the Inspiration Night Committee; Amie Rocket-Munk, Bryden Richardson, G. Scott Paterson, Sarah Paterson and Marsha Baker for making the night a great success.
